(A JAG ma a Móricz Zsigmond körtérnél van.) – A 2017. november 10-én tartott érettségi találkozónk alkalmából csináltam egy   "Aktualizált érettségi tablót" , melyet mindenegyes megjelent osztálytársamnak - nyomtatott formában - odaadtam. ... "A 2023 áprilisában aktualizált tabló" ...   I attended the József Attila Gymnasium in Budapest 11th district, near the Bottomless Lake. It was housed in the building of the Cistercian Gymnasium of St. Emeric. (Today JAG is located at Móricz Zsigmond square.) – On the occasion of our homecoming held on November 10, 2017, I made an  "Updated class photo" , and presented a printed version to each of my classmates. ...  "Recently updated class photo - April 2023"

Több mint 20 éven át dolgoztam a Központi Fizikai Kutató Intézetben, a KFKI-ban. Témavezetőként, majd önálló tudományos osztályvezetőként párhuzamos számítógép-architektúrák és nagysebességű adatátviteli rendszerek (szakzsargonban: buszrendszerek) kutatás-fejlesztésével, ill. TPA ('Tárolt Programú Analizátor') számítógépek fejlesztésével foglalkoztam. A 32-bites X-bus architektúrájú TPA-11/4xx és TPA-11/56x számítógép-családok megvalósításában vettem részt. A TPA-11/440-et, melynek projektvezetője voltam, sok éven át alkalmazták a Paksi Atomerőműben is.   For more than 20 years I worked for the Central Research Institute for Physics (KFKI) as a computer research engineer, later as head of department. My research area was focussed on parallel computing architectures, high speed data transfers (busses), and also on the development of TPA computer systems. I took part in the design and implementation of several models of the TPA-11/4xx and TPA-11/56x computer families.  The TPA-11/440 (I led the team) was also used at the Paks Nuclear Power Plant for several years.
A TPA-11/440 fejlesztéséért és alkalmazásba viteléért Intézeti díjat kaptunk. A díjjal járó kisplasztika Borsos Miklós alkotása.   The Institute (Jánossy) Prize was granted to our team for the TPA-11/440 project. See the photo of the prize medal here below! The medal was made by Hungarian sculptor and medallist Miklós Borsos.

MTESZ - Federation of Technical and Scientific Societies

A Műszaki és Természettudományi Egyesületek Szövetségének (MTESZ)  informatikai szakértője voltam sok éven át, főként az internet szolgáltatás, a web-kommunikáció, valamint a Microsoft együttműködés területén.

   As a consultant, I joined the Federation of Technical and Scientific Societies (MTESZ), where I was mainly responsible for the internet connection, the web-communication and the cooperation with Microsoft Corporation.
Részt vettem a Neumann János Számítógép-tudományi Társaság (NJSZT) ECDL programjában, oktatóként és vizsgáztatóként egyaránt. Több mint ezer hallgatót tanítottam, ill. vizsgáztattam.   As both teacher and examiner, I took part in the ECDL informatics education programme, managed by John Neumann Computer Society in Hungary. I held courses and examinations for more than one thousand students.

Négy gimnáziumi barát, alfabetikus sorrendben: Bicskey Gábor † festőművész-rajztanár, Csipkés József † művészbarát-gépészmérnök, Lőrincze Géza független bagolygyűjtő, valamint Papp György † nyug.tanár-filozófus 1987 tavaszán összejöttek egy kora esti vacsorára a XII. ker. Németvölgyi úti Makk Hetes étteremben. A kulináris élvezetek közben egyikük fejéből kipattant egy ötlet, miszerint legyen rendszeres a találkozás az alábbi feltételek szerint:
  • a vacsora minden második hónap harmadik csütörtökén legyen;
  • ugyanabba a vendéglőbe csak egyszer lehet menni;
  • a mindent fizető vendéglátó egy adott sorrendű körforgás szerint változik;
  • a helyet a vendéglátó előző este fedi fel a mit sem sejtő többieknek.
   Four college friends: Gábor Bicskey artist and drawing-master, József Csipkés art-loving engineer, Géza Lőrincze independent OWLoving OWL-collector and György Papp teacher-phylosopher  got together for a dinner in the spring of 1987, in Makk Hetes restaurant on Németvölgyi street, Budapest 12. district. While having the dinner one of the friends proposed to repeat this kind of pleasure in the following way:
  • the dinner is held on the third Thursday of every second month;
  • visiting the same restaurant once more is not allowed;
  • the person of the host is always changed in a fixed recycling order;
  • the place of the restaurant is revealed by the host the night before.
Innen kapta a nevét a körvacsora, melyről egy bölcsészhallgató disszertációt is írt az 1990-es évek első felében. Több mint száz vendéglőt látogattunk meg.
A meglátogatott éttermek listája 		 These culinary events have been called "Recycling dinner". A dissertation was also made on these topics by an arts student in the first half of the 1990's. We visited more than one hundred restaurants.

Németh Gézát gyakran elkísérem kiállításokra, ahol rendszerint fotózok is. I often visit exhibitions with Géza Németh, and I usually make photos and separate albums.
Szabó Zsolt hosszú éveken át volt kollégám a KFKI-ban és ő tanította meg a fotózás alapjait. Zsolt Szabó, a colleague of mine at KFKI for many years, taught me the basics of photography.
